said to be as old as the earth itself, miocene falls is a mighty waterfall that feeds and pushes the redgrave river along. its plunge pool is fairly wide, and gradually deepens where the water falls - but it is a pretty great place for a swim.

the weeping cliffs
the highest string of cliff sides that overlook the gorge, the weeping cliffs almost give the appearance that the edges are about to give way at any moment. a victim to erosion each year, it comes as no surprise that creatures tend to stay away from these parts of the canyon, for fear of losing their own lives.

defined by the rock formations that stretch well overhead and the deep valleys that extend to the horizon line, redgrave canyon is not for the faint of heart or tender of foot. while beautiful, this land can be dangerous for those who have a tough time tolerating the crumbling of earth beneath their feet, or heights.
