the peaks throughout the moraine mountain range are relatively docile. there is plentiful brush for consumption, for hiding from danger, and you may be fortunate enough to stumble across a stream or two. be mindful that other wildlife dwells here as well - wildcats, wolves, bears, and moose have been known to make their homes across the range.

jewett sound sits at the center of the mountain herd's territory, serving as a gathering spot for horses here in the spring and summer months. the inlet is small enough to see to the opposite side, but don't let the distance fool you; the massive lake's shallowest spots can take a quick and deep plunge, and have been known to overwhelm even the best of swimmers. it is not recommended to attempt to travel across through the water.

an inactive volcano sits at the highest peak of the moraine mountains. the inclines here are very steep, making it nearly impossible for an inexperienced climber to scale. a few flat pockets here and there allow for a few relatively solitary spots to meet secretly.
