known to be the densest parts of the smokey forest, it's easy to get turned around in the culworth thicket. it can be nearly impossible to see sunlight here, even in the middle of the day. the thicket is a popular spot for members of the smokey forest herd to find some privacy and solitude.

this mighty lake serves as a frequent visiting ground for members of the smokey forest herd. fairly wide but fortunately not too deep, it is a good place to rehydrate. a peaceful space, it is often where newborns are brought to acclimate them to life in the woods.

although scattered all across the territory, surprisingly these caves all interconnect underground. this makes it fairly easy for horses to travel from one part of the territory to the other - however, the severe lack of light means it's also easy for anybody to get lost. horses have been known to die in these caves, having never been able to find an exit.
